I personally am not a fan of contemporary but i loved this book! The characters were well developed and well introduced (without a massive backstory overload). I liked the alternating point of views from each chapter, because it allowed me to understand what they were both feeling - while also adding to the story. I liked the introduction of the side characters - which gave backstory and added to the overall plot (it also in some cases gave some backstory to the main characters, developing them further). Because this book was set in modern times there was not a lot of world building required, however i liked the way the author described the different locations, giving minimalistic details which personally helped me with imagining the location of each scene/chapter. I thought that this book was very good and i would definitely recommend it, (to contemporary lovers and even if your not a fan of contemporary).
