Okay so I read the Flatshare after all the raving I'd read about it, and despite it starting off with me thinking this was just another generic, obvious, cliched love story, I absolutely LOVED it!
I love the way it was split into both character's point of view, you could totally see the energetic, colourful, clumsy person Tiffy was, compared to the more quiet, more reserved Leon. I really enjoyed the way Leon's story was written too.
I loved the post it notes, I loved the romance, yes you could tell exactly what was going to happen in the book, but it does have several very interesting side stories, and you still find yourself rooting for Tiffy and Leon who are my two favourite characters of all the books I've read so far this year.
Fantastic, feel good, book that is easy to read. There are some underlying themes of abuse and controlling relationships, but I think Beth O'Leary has dealt with these really well
