I went into this read loving the concept and the novel idea.
I loved the writing style of this book and I felt that you could really grasp the differences in personality of both Tiffy and Leon based on their writing styles throughout the book. I appreciated that this book gave us more than just Tiffy and Leon sharing a flat and bed, it gave us the struggles that Tiffy had with her ex-boyfriend and emotional abuse and it gave us Leon's story of his brother being imprisoned. I thought the story incorporated so many different aspects of each of their lives really well and it helped to understand the characters.
This was a lovely read however I don't think it was anything to be 'wow' about. I didn't have the 'wow' feeling after I read this book and I thought with the amount of hype there was surrounding this book that I would definitely get this feeling - but I didn't. I liked the characters but again, I don't think it was anything distinct or special.
