I loved the unique plot of this book! The characters were amazing! Leon and Tiffy have officially become one of my favourite fictional couples that I have ever come across! The concept of moving into the same flat without meeting or really even knowing each other is so bizarre yet amazing. The build up and the character development between these characters was something in itself - seeing all their individual traits pop out and around - they essentially get to know each other by the way they are living in their surroundings - Tiffys exotic, colourful and hoarded belongings and Leon’s minimal. It told them a lot about each other - or even, too much about each other as they create this vision of the each other and are thoroughly surprised when they finally meet. I loved the post-it notes in this book. I think this was such a lovely and refreshing touch compared to texting/emailing people like we do now. It gave back some sort of traditional, sweet and meaningful style which really helped build the story and the characters - wouldn’t change a thing. Great book.
