By far one of the best books I have read this year, an immediate 5 stars. I read this book in three days and loved all of it, the characters were charming and well written with intriguing backstories and lives. It is the perfect rom-com for a quiet night in, the book was so enjoyable and hilarious at time while also going into quite challenging topics that showed a different and more complex side to both characters. The pacing was overall very good although there are certainly times things could have slowed down a little in order to allow the reader to adjust to the characters very quickly changing relationship. I would also have liked to learn a little more about some of the supporting characters, in particular the story of Leon searching for the war veterans.
All in all an excellent book that I strongly recommend if you are looking for a light hearted story that is taken seriously and is a believable love story for the modern world.
