Loved it!
This is my first Beth O’ Leary book and it won’t be my last.
The premise at first is a little unusual, but to be honest as the story sucks you in you get over the weirdness of the two strangers, Tiffy and Leon living together and sharing a bed, although not at the same time. Leon during the day and Tiffy at night.
I loved how the chapters were split between the two characters and their perspective. They were short too which I love in a book. Leon and Tiffy started to communicate through post it notes and I really enjoyed that. It was a lovely and unusual way to see their relationship grow.
It took a bit of time to get used to the style of the Leon chapters as he started out as quiet and shy however was still rather compelling. I loved Tiffy and I looked forward to her chapters, she seemed like the kind of girl I could be friends with. They were both wholesome, likeable characters and grew as the book progressed.
Although you’d class this as a ‘light and fluffy’ story it does discuss some serious topics but it does them in really sympathetic way.
If you fancy an ‘easy’ read and I don’t mean that in a derogatory way then you’ll enjoy this as much as I did.
