I haven't read a romance novel this good for a long, long time! Beth O'Leary has created a wonderful book with such a unique concept and some of my favourite quirky, well-developed characters.
The plot of this book is about two flatmates who have never met and share a bed as she works during the day and he works nights. And everything that ensues after this. The relationship between Tiffy and Leon is adorable and realistic, as well as the friendships and family dynamics within the novel.
There are a series of underlying plot strands that make this book more than just a romcom, including long lost relationships from the Second World War, a sick little girl and wrongly incarcerated brothers, which will have you wanting to read the whole thing in one sitting.
