WOW am I glad I read this book. If you follow my stories you’ll know this is the first romance book I’ve read in a long time as I just always struggled to get into them, I love the drama and hook that thrillers provide and I’ve just never had that with others. But this book completely hooked me with its humour and I found it a really easy read. I loved the characters and felt like they were very relatable which made it very easy to root for them.
I, along with many others I’ve heard, initially struggled with Leon’s writing style, but I think it was a very good insight into his character and how he thinks and speaks and wouldn’t change that aspect of the book at all!
A great romance book with a lovely relatable and heart-warming story line that certainly hooks the reader in. Beth O’Leary has allowed me to enjoy romances and I’m looking forward to trying The Switch now!
