I had been putting off getting it and then reading it for a little while because I wasn’t sure it would be my thing. Rom-com is not my thing in books so I was quite sceptical...and quite wrong!
I absolutely adored this book and devoured it in less than 24 (slightly-sleep-deprived) hours. The alternation between points of view and writing styles is played beautifully, giving the story and the characters’ personality further depth and making the task of empathising and getting emotionally involved extremely easy for the reader. The story, the characters, the separate lives that intertwine... work all beautifully to create a narrative that captivates the reader, making stopping reading borderline impossible.
