It's nothing but a lovely story about two people falling for one another at difficult times in their lives. And there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, it was a touching little read. Tiffy ends up sharing a bed (at different times of the day) with Leon in a wonderfully weird flatshare scenario. He's saving to get his brother out of trouble, while she's trying her best to move on from a dreadful ex who - might I add is the root of all evil.
The post – it note conversations took me a while to get used to if Im honest but after a while I could see no other way for Leon! Being the introvert that he is. Predictable – but nobody promised otherwise! 100% what a light romantic read should be. Made me feel good and at times a little grateful that I also have great friends just like Tiffy. I wondered a few times about the lack of ‘lad friends’.... or friends in general Leon had! But this I guess was irrelevant to the story.
Nice read with quirky likeable characters. Will read from this author again.
