The Flatshare is one of my favourite books that I've read in 2020 - I just could not put it down!
Tiffy has just gone through a messy breakup but is still living with her ex. She needs to move out ASAP but the problem is she can't afford much in London. Online, she finds an advert for a flat share but it's only a one bedroom flat... Leon works night shift so they come to an agreement that Tiffy can have the flat in the evening and Leon during the day.
Due to their shifts, they don't meet for ages but they start leaving notes around the flat to communicate. It starts off with 'we're low on milk' to more personal conversations and it just goes from there!
I absolutely adored this book, it's a slow burn romance but just so perfect. The story is narrated through the perspectives of both Leon and Tiffy and this way you really got to know each character. I loved both of them as individuals and then as a couple even more!
Very memorable read, that will make you smile, laugh and cry.
Highly recommend and I can't wait to read another book from Beth O'Leary!
