Tiffy and Leon share a flat, room and even a bed. Tiffy and Leon have also never met. Their arrangement of sleeping in the flat at different times of the day is the perfect set up for a rom-com style book. Funny and fast-paced I flew through this read. It left my hanging on every word waiting to find out what would happen when these characters finally met and their worlds collided.

Although it is generally warm and uplifting, the book also explored some more difficult themes. Leon's trying to free his wrongfully imprisoned brother. And Tiffy is beginning to recognise and start to heal from a toxic abusive relationship.

There's also a cast of eclectic side characters who keep our protagonists on track while adding to the humour.

I'd recommend The Flat Share to anyone looking for a go to summer read. It's quick, easy to read and leaves you with that fuzzy feeling.
