This book seemed to be all over the bookgrams and social media, so I approached it with caution, thinking it might actually be a lot of hype. I am however, really glad that I overcame this fear of hype, as I really enjoyed the book. Despite the plot being utterly predictable (I wonder if the best friend being a highly successful criminal barrister will have any impact on the brother requiring help overturning his criminal conviction?) I enjoyed all of it. The characters were so utterly convincing that the contrived plot didn't matter and I laughed out loud at these great characters having these adventures. What I was not expecting was the awful relationship with the ex Justin, so cleverly hinted at before being revealed in all its horror. I love that Tiffi was able to get away from him and on with her life, and found myself rooting for her relationship with Leon. Tiffi is an inspired and empowering character, keeping true to herself and keeping her confidence despite going through difficult times.
