Beth O'Leary has written a novel which is good on so many levels. It's very different from the usual boy meets girl romance. Apart from the main story of the flat share she brings in several other themes. There is Tiffy's relationship with Justin and how she hasn't even realised how controlling and emotionally abusive he's been. Then there is the battle to get Leon's brother freed from prison. The patients in the hospice add another dimension to the story. The style of writing is interesting and makes the book easy to read. The chapters alternate between Tiffy and Leon telling the story with lots of post it note information as well. Once I started this book I really didn't want to.put it down.
