This book was adorable and so so sweet! I adored reading about the protagonists' background stories. As well as handling some trickier topics, the storyline took some getting used to at the start but the romance makes up for it as it's just so wholesome! I appreciated being able to see the romance blossom from an initial friendship. I loved how both main characters had their own quirks and personalities, neither were their individual lives based solely on each other. After an unpredictable situation emerges, the two begin to see that they may be more than just being flatmates. This felt more personal, relatable and realistic to me. Once I got used to the writers very British style of writing, I began to really get into the story and start to enjoy it! I loved the slow burn style of romance. This book was super cute and definitely surprised me in the best way possible! <3
