I received this book as a gift and had heard a lot of hype about it so feared it could be a disappointment. I was wrong! This is a lovely, charming and entertaining story. Leon and Tiffy are the central characters but there are plenty of interesting friends and colleagues who feature prominently. There are lots of familiar patterns to the story but they are written in a delightful fashion. I’m a sucker for books written from more than one character’s perspective so this was ideal for me. There are a few heavier issues addressed through the story but I think these are sensitively handled and work well within the plot. I would recommend this for someone who fancies something light but warm. Fans of Our Stop will probably like this too.
