My first impression of the cover was how I liked the contrast between the different covers' colors and the wood aspect. Personally, I wouldn't have picked the book up myself due to the cover. People say don't judge a book by its cover, but sometimes you just buy it because the cover is so pretty! The title of the book made me curious as well. Like who's forging and are the forgers a specific group. The summary instantly got me hooked. Its like mystery times fantasy had a baby. I loved the concept of the inscribed books and how these people have information on Adam and Will. I was instantly so sad once I finished reading the preread. I wanted more!
