The Forgers is another brilliant thriller by Bradford Morrow, a master storyteller. The Forgers is narrated by Will, a convicted forger who is now in a relationship with Meg. Meg's brother, Adam Diehl who is a dealer in rare books, is found lying in his home with a head injury and both his hands severed. Despite an extensive search his hands haven't been found. In addition many books have been extensively damaged and torn papers lie around. Ten days later Adam dies so the police are now hunting for a murderer. The police begin to suspect that Adam might also have been a forger and call Will in for further questioning and an expert opinion on some of the papers strewn around Adam's house. As part of his rehabilitation Will provides the police with his opinion on suspected forgeries from time to time. Will has suspected that Adam might have been a forger but has no proof so has kept his suspicions to himself. Like the author's other books this it's going to be extrememly interesting to read how he unravels all the complexities of this mystery.
