Wow what a start to this book! A thrilling start and very well written throughout. The background is laid out in the beginning and we learn about the gruesome events that happened to Adam. I like how at the beginning the narrator is describing the events of what happened to the victim and then the writing goes into the first person where the narrator tells us about Adam, Meg and his own experience of forgery. I like the cover, it is in keeping with it's genre. But to be honest I would never have given this book a second look on the shelf but that would be a shame as it's a very promising start to a mystery/thriller. I absolutely must read the blurb of all books and maybe even the first few pages. I'd love to read on and find out what happens next with this one.
