Will this be a beautifully written short story, or one that rushes to a conclusion?

The first impression was well written and easy to read. I like the cover, and the concept for the book. However, being such a short book I am unsure how the story will unfold over so few pages - will it feel like it is a rushed conclusion, or will Bradford Morrow use the space wisely? I'd happily read on to find out...
