The prose of this book let me read it in a few hours, it was such a quick read for a book that holds such a deep message and power. I didn't feel like I was reading it, instead I thought I was living it, living the scenes, the stories with the characters themselves.
The prose was just beautiful, for a story so suspenseful and full of mystery and intrigue, it was written so smoothly that I followed every single word.
The imagery was so beautiful throughout, which I hoped it would be after reading the first peak, and I just loved it. It was such a good fast read, refreshing and bittersweet, after finishing it.
