The cover of the book has dark colouring, showing the spines of 4 books. Two of the books are Sherlock Holmes novels.
Being unaware of book forgery, despite the title I was not sure what the book would actually be about.

The story follows a character, you do not officially learn his name, although it did hint his name is Will. Will is am ex book forger, he has a true passion for calligraphy and the written word.his life is thrown into turmoil after his brother in law is murdered, then will starts to recieve ominus letters.

I shall not spoil any of the story with any events of the book.

The writing of this book is very good. Bradford Morrow refers to multiple writers and books, he is very descriptive and you can imagine the calligraphy and books he discusses.

The story itself, i found quite a hard one to get in to. I much prefer a light read but I have scored the book a 4, as the writing is very good, the story is original and it is somewhat a suspense as you are on a quest to establish the murderer, although you will have your suspicions.

I would not read this book again, but I would recommend. Its not a book alike any i have read before,i loved its originality. I also enjoy books where you learn new things, the world of forgery is one I was not aware of.
