I was excited to read this book as the plot seemed intriguing, and I really enjoyed the start and the first few chapters of the book. However, I struggled to stay interested in this book, and found the pace of the book to slow down making it difficult to read through.
The plot of this book was definitely interesting and I liked reading about what was happening. I didn’t really like the writing style of this book, it just did not flow for me. Some of the sentences were quite long and drawn out, and sometime over descriptive. This meant that for me personally it felt that some events in the book weren’t as clear as I would have liked them to be, and I was left with some questions at the end.
The characters in this book were really intriguing and I enjoyed reading about most of them. They were complex characters and I found it interesting to read about their interactions.
