When I read the first impressions of this tale I thought this was going to be a really exciting story, one that would keep me on my toes. To some extent it did, but I think it lost a little of its magic along the way. I kept on reading until the bitter end as I was invested so far and I really wanted to know who the murderer was. Two thirds of the way in, you have your suspicions, you then think “no way he would have done it”, and then you find out the truth.
Will has fallen in love with Meghan. His first love is forgery of the book sort, with Meghan coming a very close second. Adam, Meghans brother, is brutally murdered and Will is there to pick up the pieces. Adam was also in the forgery business but had also taken a dislike to Will. This story is about how far someone is willing to go to keep the ones they love as close to them as they possibly can.
An interesting, if a little slow, read.
