I must say I have really struggled during the process of reading this novel. The characters were bland, the mystery was predictable, the plot was very meh and the pacing felt slighlt off. And so the combination of it was not enjoyable and I found myself rather bored throughout it. I have had high hopes and I really liked the cover but sadly it did not deliver. I will be donating my copy to the local library once it reopens as maybe it will find happiness with some other books and a reader may stumble upon it by chance. Who knows, it could be their next favourite story! Although I very much doubt that. Anyway, I am rambling on but just know I didn't like it, but what can you do. We won't love every story we read and that is just life. Hope other people enjoyed it a more. Arrivederci, adieu, hasta la vista and aufwiedersehen. Please stop now, oh my goodness...
