The first look of this story is so intruiging and already heart-wrenching. I'm already feeling for Bess and desperate to find out what happens to little Clara! The book is well-written and easy to read, and the characters so far seem well developed. I think this book could be a really great piece of historical fiction, and I can't wait to read the full story!
