I absolutely loved Stacey Halls' previous book, The Familiars, so I've been really looking forward to the release of The Foundling and from what I've seen so far I'm confident that I won't be disappointed! The reader is straight away drawn in to the story and the "feel" of the novel - evocative, personal, descriptive, characterful all at once. I can't wait to read on, I need to know what happens to Clara and Bess! Love the look of the cover too and think it will appeal to all fans of this sort of story.
