Whether or not I win the draw, this is going straight onto my TBR list.

I was drawn immediately to the story, horrified by the idea of the lottery, and also amazed that so many women were giving up their children at the same time. I'd never really thought of a foundling hospital as such an organised 'business'. I want to keep reading and learn more about the time, and Clara and her mum's story, and the heart.

I read and enjoyed Stacey Halls last book, and, as before, the cover is just stunning - one you can see different things in each time you look. Overall I can't wait to read this one.
