Exquisite
First up - the cover is beautiful. Secondly, the writing is even more beautiful.
The Foundling is where unwanted babies go. Which initially seems like a strange concept, but because Halls' writing style is so exquisite you're drawn in and immersed in a time where it's normal.
The first look really drew me in from the start. I want to know there journey that the characters are going on and where they end up more than anything.
This promises to be a blinder - just like The Familiars
