I was first drawn to the cover which is beautiful! I love historical fiction so was quickly drawn into this story. I love how Stacey begun the story in the middle of the action, so I immediately cared about the characters and was interested in their story. I was disappointed when the extract ended as I was desperate to carry on reading- I want to know whether Clara will be reunited with her mother and what will happen in the future!
