I’ve been impatiently awaiting Stacey Halls’ next book for ages as I absolutely adored her debut, The Familiars! And the first impression of The Foundling didn’t disappoint one iota! The first pages instantly paint a clear and intriguing picture for the reader! The atmosphere and detail is a thing of beauty! You can tell a lot of research as gone into this book! I love the authors writing, it is enchanting! Super excited to read the rest!
