I’m not usually a fan of historical fiction, however the synopsis had me intrigued and reading the first impression has certainly cemented that.
The detail in the books is brilliant and you really get a sense of the era that it is set in.
Bess’ story sounds so intriguing and I’m keen to find out if she does indeed find her daughter!
