The cover of this book is beautifully eye-catching, the colours pop from the page and caught my attention.
The synopsis is intriguing and made me want to have a look, even though its not something I normally go for as I can find stories set in centuries past can be hard to grasp.
This is remarkably well written and descriptive. The first chapter is so emotional and I really felt for Bess. It then goes on to start to tell you about her life in chapter 2.
Even though I wouldn't normly pick this sort of thing I'm interested to see where it goes and what happens with Bess and will she ever get Cara back.
