Love Stacey Halls and have been waiting for The Foundlings. It is an amazing story based around true events, shadowed in our history, that was screaming to be told.
It is a heartbreaking tale of desperation and despair and to think that this was actually happening time and time again. Parents would give up their babies because they were poor and did not have the means to feed their babies or because society frowned upon them. Stacey has bought this story to life!
The way Stacey is able to take true historical events and use them to tell a gripping fictional story of the people that lived in those times is amazing.
