After reading 'The Familiars' I could not wait to get a glimpse at this book and from the blurb alone I am excited! Not only is the cover another beauty but the story line has already got me wanting to read more.
The description really sets the scene and I can picture the hospital vividly already. The first chapter describes Bess and her character is built very quickly. She is a strong and caring woman who despite giving her baby up loves her deeply and will come back for her one day. I am really looking forward to seeing how she will be affected when she learns her daughter is gone when she returns for her.
The other character we don't know too much about yet but it will be interesting to see how they fit into the story and to see who the father is
