Well, I didnt win this book I was very disappointed, as I had read and enjoyed Stacey Halls's first book and loved it. Ii was hoping this book was as good and I had high hopes which were pretty much right. I purchased my own copy as I was so looking forward it reading it! I couldn’t put it down. The author is good at making the reader sympathise with the characters. The main story focuses on the two women characters who are very strong and come from completely different backgrounds. The author shows this through their mannerisms and speech and I really enjoyed this, although it may not be to everyone’s taste. The story is very enjoyable throughout and I would also recommend the authors first book, The Familiars, which was really good and although this book is different I would definitely recommend it to others. Can’t wait for the next book!
