I always like to judge a book on how I feel after I have completed it. This book made me want to do my own research about The Foundlings. I feel that it is so important that a book can engage you in that way and really seep into your mind so delve deeper into the subject matter.
it is well known that I am not a fan of historical fiction. I struggle with it and I tend to shy away from it. However, this book was so rich and beautiful that it was hard not to fall in love with the story and the characters.
I was fully invested in the story and I was desperate to find out more of what was happening and what the characters were going through. I loved how all the characters developed with their personalities and grew as people.
