Stacey Halls has done it again! I am a massive fan of The Familiars so was so excited to be given the chance to review this book!
I love all the characters. They are all quite different and yet I empathise with them all, they are have their own struggles and it really shows in how they do things.
I love Bess, she’s such a wonderful depiction of motherly love.
I read through the last part of the book so fast because I was just on the edge of my seat the whole time! so don’t usually physically feel suspense from books but I really did this time! I was actually holding my breath for a while!
I love this book so much, I am definitely going to re-read it again sometime in the future! I recommend it to anyone that likes historical fiction!!
