The first thing that drew me in with this book was the gorgeous cover. After I read the synopsis and excerpt from the book I knew I had to give it a go.
The writing style flows very well and is very engaging, It left me wanting to to read more managed to finish the book in one day.
This is the story of Bess who left her illegitimate daughter Clara at the foundling hospital. She returns some years later to reclaim her child only to be told that she has already been reclaimed - by her.
