Wonderful
What a wonderful book, the story was beautifully written.
In London 1754, Bess returns to the Foundling Hospital to collect her daughter Clara which she left there to be cared for 6 years ago, only to discover someone has already claimed Clara by pretending to be her. Bess now has to find out who claimed her daughter and why.
I have never read anything like this before but absolutely loved this book. I was engrossed in the whole story and didn't want it to end.
