Although, this seems like an interesting idea for a novel, the narrative and premise seeming like a gripping romance, the cover somewhat ruins it for me. I don't usually go for books with realistic people on the covers, finding they tend to spoil my imagination of the characters immediately. The title is another con, the word 'bride' making it a little too cringy for my tastes.
