My first impression of this book is only a good one, I love to read historical fiction and with my favourite genre being romance this seems like the perfect read for me. It gives me a glimpse of times gone by and how it would have felt to be in love during the war. For me, I wasn't very attracted to the front cover as it seems very cliche for its genre however, as they say, do not judge by the cover!
