The G.I. Bride is not the kind of book I'd usually choose but the story sounds quite interesting. I do prefer more modern books though rather than ones set at war time. Maybe it could be a good read however as April sounds like such a good strong character it leaves me wondering what rumours are emerging and how she will deal with them. I like the cover as it seems to show how her life's been turned upside down and seems to show it as if she's looking at her life from the outside and that she wants to be happy again and find her love.
