Not my kind of war book
The scene is set in the wartime cityscape, the open wounds of fear, the rich thoughts of bombs falling from Goerings famed luftwaffe formations. The characters were a little unenticing for me, your usual blitz mix. But could be an easy page turner for those interested in that kind of character development - love/relationships/hardship. I prefer more gore, more spice, or more black added. It’s otherwise well written and has a well set tone for the era.
