“ one of those books you can’t/don’t want to put down”.

I have read over a hundred books set around the Second World War but can count on one hand the ones I found impossible to put down. In the small amount that I have read of the G.I. Bride I know this will be amongst them. April seems to be a strong but vunerable character and although the title of the book leads you to the conclusion of the story I am sure there are many twists and turns before she reaches it. It is certainly on my ‘ to read’ list.
