I really enjoyed reading this book. I am a fan of stories that are set in the past, particularly ones that are set in either world wars. I found this book to be really enjoyable and captivating. It really captured the reality and hardships of the war and through the writing, which is stunning I may add, I was really able to imagine what life would have been like. This was a really easy read and the story was so beautifully told and I really felt connected to the characters within the story.
Overall I didn't have any major issues with this book, except for the fact that some of the actions of the characters are questionable, but it all works out fine in the end.
