I started reading this book a few months back but stopped as I couldn’t get into it..
I then started a few weeks ago and found I couldn’t put it down,
Poor April having losing her father like that must have been awful but I’m so happy she moved and found love and a happy family else where, I so enjoyed reading this book about the war times and bombings, very sad and hard hitting as it is actually real life! Poor Eunice, falling in love with another man and coloured in that day n age well it must have been horrible for her , but I’m glad it all had a happy needing for her and her little family.
Would definitely recommend this book, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and was sad when it ended.
