I'm so invested in both Iris and Summer! I can completely see why Iris is the way she is, it doesn't sound like she's had the best upbringing as she's always comparing herself to her twin sister which isn't good for her mental health. Iris has never been made to feel special, Summer has always been the expected child whereas Iris was a surprise and named after flowers that were received.
Her dad who went from woman to woman has not been a good role model, in particular teaching Iris that "there's not enough for two. There’s only one life that we have to share." Even when her dad passes away he fuels unhealthy competition as he stated in his will that he would give his inheritance to the first of his seven children to marry and produce a baby. It's now a race for Iris to get the inheritance!
