The striking bright colourful cover is like the book, looks simple but there is much kore to it and if you look closer, your mind starts spotting things. The writing style is lovely, each sentence is like a daisy chain of colourful words. Until I started reading this I had never heard of "mirror twins" - now I do, and what a great undercurrent that flows through the plot. Rose Carlyle writes with the assurance of someone who thoroughly knows every topic in the book, countries, sailing boats, etc., and manages to get this necessary detail across in a minimum of words, just enough description to be comprehensive without labouring it. The funeral parlour scene is brilliant. A really good read.
