I was so impressed with this debut novel! Firstly, it was the cover of the book that caught my eye because I could just tell it was going to be a great summer thriller and I wasn't wrong.
The Girl In The Mirror is about two identical sisters, Summer and Iris. Iris has always been envious of Summer's seemingly perfect life, including her husband Adam. Iris is called to Thailand to help sail their beloved family yacht to the Seychelles but suddenly she finds herself all alone in the middle of the Indian Ocean and she has to decide how far she is willing to go to take everything she's always wanted...
There are twists all the way through this novel which I always love as it keeps me wanting to read more. Admittedly, it's a very far-fetched story but it was entertaining and I couldn't quite believe the very final twist on the last page! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'll be looking out for more from Rose Carlyle in the future.
